The Concept
For this year's PMV entry I wanted to try to create a video with an over-arching theme and narrative. Using a Kim Petras's track "XXX", I've created a retro/pulp/comic inspired aesthetic to tell a tale of debauchery. Tales from the Life Erotic uses the concept of a narrative "tell all" performance by Maitland Ward as a visual metaphor for the sexual exploits featured in the video, all laid over a "slut pop" composition. It features hardcore sex in multiple positions with multiple partners.
Making PMVs has become a nice side hobby and I've tried to incorporate a few new video editing tricks as I've learn more about the process. I wasn't able to complete my first concept for the theme in time, but think I've come up with something quite original. I hope you enjoy.
